I honestly had put this experience in the back of my mind until today when I received a follow up text from Prosser’s.Last year my car (05 sonata, yes old car I know) broke down along an intersection off of 71. It was my first car as I’m epileptic and had hoops to jump through before I could drive. I had it towed to Prosser’s and they told me that the damage was going to cost me about $500. Cars are expensive and I didn’t hold that to them. My car sadly sat for probably a week, but by the time I came to pick it up it wouldn’t go over 25 mph. I had to have it taken to a junkyard and scrapped. The scrap wasn’t even worth the cost of the useless repairs done on my car I felt tricked. Here I am a young woman. I don’t know much about cars. I tried to find the highest rated car shop in Mansfield.(where my car broke down, not where I am from) Even then I got entirely screwed! So no I don’t recommend Prosser’s. And it’s a shame because it seems as if a lot of people have had great experiences there, but I feel as if I was just tricked into getting useless work done.
