I have been trusting Prosser's with my repairs for two decades now--with TRUST being the key word. The shop is clean and the waiting room is extremely comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the mechanics know what they are doing. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed

After searching for a week for a shop to do a D.O.T. inspection, I found Prosser's Automotive. Matt got me in with no problem. Shop was super clean & neat. Nice waiting area with Wi-Fi access where I could work while I waited. The owner thanked me for my business and I was on my way. Other shops should take notice.

The first experience I’ve had with Prossers was amazing. They explained the issues that were priority and how certain repairs would be charged for based on what parts were needed. I’ve been going to them ever since and recommended some other folks to them as well. I don’t know much about cars but I also don’t like feeling stupid lol, and prossers has never made me feel that way or tried to take advantage. Recently I had my muffler fixed for a leak and they explained how they fixed my car’s other issues. I appreciate it a lot.

They went above and beyond to get my car fix even gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was done. I highly recommend them

UPDATE: they did something to my AC. Two days later it stopped working yet they did a 70 point check? And the closer I looked, the inspection stated things were in the 'green' but also in the 'red'? AVOID!

I honestly had put this experience in the back of my mind until today when I received a follow up text from Prosser’s.Last year my car (05 sonata, yes old car I know) broke down along an intersection off of 71. It was my first car as I’m epileptic and had hoops to jump through before I could drive. I had it towed to Prosser’s and they told me that the damage was going to cost me about $500. Cars are expensive and I didn’t hold that to them. My car sadly sat for probably a week, but by the time I came to pick it up it wouldn’t go over 25 mph. I had to have it taken to a junkyard and scrapped. The scrap wasn’t even worth the cost of the useless repairs done on my car I felt tricked. Here I am a young woman. I don’t know much about cars. I tried to find the highest rated car shop in Mansfield.(where my car broke down, not where I am from) Even then I got entirely screwed!So no I don’t recommend Prosser’s. And it’s a shame because it seems as if a lot of people have had great experiences there, but I feel as if I was just tricked into getting useless work done.
